Users can put their IOS Device in recovery mode and then restore it with iTunes. The procedure is simple and you have to follow the steps in an orderly manner.
Step 1: First of all, ensure that you are using the latest version of iTunes
Step 2: If iTunes is open already, close it and connect your device (iPhone iPad) to your computer and open iTunes.
Step 3: Let the device stay connected and force restart it with the following steps. Remember not to release the buttons when you see the Apple logo instead wait until the ‘connect to iTunes’ screen appears.
For iPhone – Press and quickly release the volume up button. Do same with the volume down button and press and hold the side button until you see the connect to iTunes screen
For iPad – Press and hold both the home and top buttons at the same time. Keep on holding them for a while and release them when you see the ‘connect to iTunes’ screen
Step 4: Click on the summary tab and click on the restore button. iTunes will prompt you to back up the device.
Step 5: At the confirmation screen, click on restore to begin restoring the device to factory defaults.
Restoring might take a while to finish. When the device is done, it will boot up and you will see completely factory default version. This process will lead you to quick restoration and you will thus be saved from the hassles of any other troubleshooting. You should contact Apple Australia Support for more information regarding the restoration.
